About the Founder and Director of the
Orthopedic Center for Minimally Invasive Joint Replacement
Dr. Len Remia is a Harvard Medical School trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, who has been practicing in Broward County since June of 2003. Dr. Remia specializes in Minimally Invasive (MIS) total joint replacement and minimally invasive procedures in Sports Medicine. Dr. Remia is fellowship trained in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
Dr. Len Remia graduated from Boston University and Boston University School of Medicine Magna Cum Laude. He completed his Orthopedic Residency at Harvard Medical School at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham & Women's Hospital, and the Longwood Children's Hospital of Boston. He completed his Sport Medicine Fellowship at the renowned Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in Los Angeles, CA.
Most recently, Dr. Len Remia served as team Orthopedic surgeon for the Florida Panthers as well as the Chief Orthopedic Surgeon and Medical Director for the Florida Atlantic University Owls. In addition, Dr. Remia served as Chairman, Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida.
